PDF to HTML
Convert PDF to HTML
Runs locally in your browser
What it does
Looks Like the PDF
Each page is drawn as an image, so the layout, fonts, tables and graphics match the original.
Optional Selectable Text
Add an invisible text layer over each page so text can be selected and searched, where the PDF stores it.
One Self-Contained File
The result is a single .html file with the page images inside. No folders to keep together.
Page Choice and Quality Presets
Convert all pages or just some, and pick Compact, Balanced or High quality to trade sharpness for file size.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is read and drawn in your browser. The page does download the code needed to run the tool.
Is the HTML editable?
No. This is a visual conversion. Pages are images, and the optional text layer is an invisible overlay, so the file is not clean, editable webpage markup and tables are not rebuilt.
Why is the HTML file large?
Every page is stored as an image inside the file, so the size grows with the number of pages and the quality you choose. Compact gives the smallest file.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
The visual pages do. There is no text recognition (OCR), so scanned pages have no selectable text even with the text layer turned on.
What about Arabic or other right-to-left text?
Selectable text depends on how the PDF stores its text. Some Arabic, RTL or unusual PDFs may have incomplete or incorrectly ordered text, although the visual page is still exported.
Are links, forms and attachments kept?
Links to web addresses are kept. Internal links, form fields, attachments and any scripts in the PDF are not exported, and PDF scripts are never run.
